We have wanted to create our own wool colour palettes to stitch with for the longest time, these are the colours and fibres I now use for my original artworks and I’m thrilled to be able to share these colour palette bundles with you to enjoy stitching with.

These colours have been hand-painted and dyed in the studio using beautiful to stitch with 4ply silk merino wool. They are limited edition and colours may not be repeated. Each are unique so you will not find two skeins that are exactly the same.

Each Palette includes ten beautiful 5 gram skeins of hand-dyed wool curated into a limited edition colour palette.

Around 19m of wool in each 5 gram skein, cut into aprox 1.2m+ lengths and hand wound into little bundles ready for you to stitch with.

Most hand dyed skeins of wool are large and designed for knitting. These skeins have been created specifically with stitching in mind. The 15% Mulberry Silk content added to the NZ merino wool gives it a smoother finish that allows it to flow beautifully through your fabric. We use a size 18 Chenille needle to stitch this wool and prefer to cut it to around arms length before threading.

This wool is my favourite fibre to stitch with and also works well for punch needle and other creative fibre projects.

Created in small batches at the studio, each skein is unique, hand painted with our own dye mixes to make beautiful palettes inspired by our favourite flora.

Care has been taken to avoid any dye waste and ensure that any remaining dye from our small batches is used for other fibre projects so that no dye enters our waterways.

The wool dyes have been heat set and double rinsed to ensure that the colours are fixed.

These wools have been designed for embroidery art, please gently wash in a luke warm wool wash if used to stitch items like cushions or clothing and hang to dry.

As they are pre cut lengths these wools aren’t ideal for knitting.

NZ - free shipping - allow 10 working days

Australia - $12 flat order charge + $5.00 per item - allow 2-3 weeks (1 kit = $18 shipping)

Rest of the World - $25.00 flat order charge + $10 per item allow 3-6 weeks (1 kit = $35 shipping)

Should you need any support with your order we are happy to assist.

Your shipping notification email is sent once your kit has been collected by our local courier and you can track the progress of your parcel via the tracking number in your email on the NZ Post website.
