I design these as if I was going to stitch them myself, first choosing a vintage / retro textile as the base then gathering threads and beads to compliment or re-energise the imagery.

Each kit comes with the following items direct from the studio:

• 1x piece selected vintage / retro or found textile

• 1x beechwood hoop (15cm diameter)

• Needles

• Selected threads like embroidery floss, wools*, cottons

  *wools used in most kits are a mix of our hand dyed wools created in the studio and other wools we use to stitch with

• Beads - a mix of new and upcycled

Please note that as each kit is unique so are the quantities of supplies like threads to suit each individual kit.

These kits don’t come with instructions as I hope you’ll approach them with a sense of curiosity and exploration. There’s no right or wrong when it comes to creating with these delicious supplies so I encourage you to embrace the creative process, take your time and as I always say “it’s none of our business what’s happening at the back!”.

We do send a link to some simple stitch videos included with your shipping notification email. These videos are a small part of my online course Joyful Embroidery with Fibre Arts Take Two and have been gifted from Fibre Arts Take Two to share with kit lovers.

Worldwide shipping available. Shipping timeframes can vary depending on the supply chain flowing at the time.

We’re a rural studio shipping weekly on a Thursday.

Rough timeframes are:

NZ - free shipping - allow 10 working days

Australia - $12 flat order charge + $5.00 per item - allow 2-3 weeks (1 kit = $18 shipping)

Rest of the World - $25.00 flat order charge + $10 per item allow 3-6 weeks (1 kit = $35 shipping)

Your shipping notification email is sent once your kit has been collected by our local courier and you can track the progress of your parcel via the tracking number in your email on the NZ Post website.
