Inspired by Embracing the Slow Chapter in my book The Untamed Thread, I wanted to offer the supplies for slow stitching to soothe the slow and ignite creativity.

Please note that because most of the elements in this kit are hand painted and hand dyed the colours will different slightly from kit to kit. The bonus of this is that it makes each kit unique.

Also we source vintage cottons and laces for our textural elements, they will differ from those pictured from time to time but will be similar and just as beautiful.

Included in the kit are always these elements straight from my studio:

• Vintage Woollen Blanket Base piece (aprox 20cm x 25cm)

• A selection of hand painted linen and vintage textile textures in the colour palette of your choice (select from the drop down box)

• Chenille needles - size 18-22

• 1x generous skein of hand dyed wool created by us especially for these colour palettes (aprox 20m)

• 2 skeins stranded cotton

• A simple guide printed and included in your kit to help get you started.

• Plus as a bonus we send you Fleur’s stitch videos that go out with your shipping notification email to help you if you want to try new or different stitches any time.

As you are paying the NZ Dollar amount for your items the pricing often still works out well with your exchange and while we know duties are a total bummer we can’t be responsible for paying for or preventing those potential charges.
