PLEASE NOTE: there is a minimum order quantity required of 3x skeins, this can be 3+ skeins of one colour or 3+ skeins of a mix of colours.

You are welcome to order as many as you like over the minimum.

Skeins are $12.00 each, 5 grams (approx 19 metres) of silk merino 4 ply New Zealand wool in one length. Our wool contains 15% Mulberry Silk.

All skeins are hand dyed and hand wound by Fleur Woods Art Studio, our wools are small batch and colours are not ever exactly the same and often never repeated.

We created these wools as we wanted to be able to enjoy stitching with the beautiful silk merino in colours that inspired us, as an extension of my stitched painting practice.

Once we started hand painting & dying our wools we knew without a doubt that you might enjoy stitching with them too. We use Ashford Dyes, a New Zealand based wool dye and follow environmentally friendly practices avoiding waste and disposing of any dye residue responsibly.

Because we know you might like more than 1 skein of each colour we wanted to let you choose your colours rather than bundle them into set colour palettes.

Here's the colours from our latest batch, there are limited numbers available in each colour, sometimes colours can appear different due to different screen settings.

Colour options available as pictured, please note our colours will vary slightly from skein to skein and are not ever one solid colour:

1. Soft Blue - pale blue with a subtle touch of dover grey

2. Forest - grass through to deep greens

3. Pineapple - Bright through to pale yellow with a subtle hint of soft peach

4. Aster - Pinky Coral with some deeper pink speckles

5. Blue Green - Mid lake blue to pale blue and light sea green through to soft lime green

6. Pink with Purple Speckle - Candy Pink with random pale to deep purple speckles

7. Sea Green - Blues, blue greens and touches of brighter seaweed green

8. Iris - Magenta through to bright purple

9. Peach Blossom - Soft pink & peach tones with hints of purple

10. Cosmos - Soft through to Bright Pinks

11. Rose Pink Speckle - Soft pale rose pink with mauve and yellow speckles

12. Delphinium - Bright through to pale blue with touches of teal

13. Hellebore - Multi coloured butter yellow through peach, minty greens and soft blues

14. Custard - soft warm yellow tones with a hint of peach and ochre

15. Indigo Speckle - very soft pale grey blue with dark blue indigo speckles

16. Marigold - Mid warm organe base with touches of baby pink and khaki speckles

17. Emerald - deep greens and blue green tones

18. Bluebell - Bright blue through to mid blues

19. Lime - Deeper green lime through to bright yellow lime tones

20. Ivy - Bright mid green with hints of blue

We’re a rural studio shipping weekly on a Thursday.

Shipping is based on weight and region, you will see your shipping charge at the checkout. Wools are very light weight so a great option to add to other orders as they add very little to the overall weight.

Should you need any support with your order we are happy to assist.

Your shipping notification email is sent once your kit has been collected by our local courier and you can track the progress of your parcel via the tracking number in your email on the NZ Post website.
